Privacy Policy
Last updated June 28, 2026
This policy explains what information IndieBuilderStack collects, why we collect it, and what we promise to do (and not do) with it. It covers everything we make: the web app at http://localhost:5173, and any browser extensions we ship.
We've tried to write this like a human would talk, not like a lawyer. If anything here is unclear, email us at l@cupbots.com and we'll explain it in plain words.
The short version
- We collect the least we need to run the product, and nothing we don't.
- We don't sell your data. Not now, not ever. There's no asterisk.
- We don't run ads, so we have no reason to track you around the web.
- Your stuff is yours. You can export it or delete it whenever you want.
- If a law ever forces our hand, we'll fight it and tell you unless we're legally gagged.
What we collect
There are really only a few things, and each has a reason:
Account information
When you sign up, we keep your email address. If you sign in with Google or GitHub, we receive your email and basic profile info from them. That's how we know who you are when you come back.
Billing information
Payments run through Stripe. We never see or store your full card number — Stripe handles that. We keep a customer ID and your subscription status so we know which tools you have access to.
The content you create
Whatever you put into our tools — feedback boards, notes, settings — is stored so we can show it back to you. We treat it as private to your account.
Basic usage data
Like every web service, our servers keep logs (IP address, browser type, timestamps) to keep things secure and working. We don't build advertising profiles out of them.
Our browser extensions
This one matters, so we'll be specific.
- They only run where you tell them to. An extension activates on the pages it needs to do its job — not silently in the background on every site you visit.
- They don't read your browsing history. We don't collect the list of sites you visit, your bookmarks, or what you type into other people's websites.
- They talk only to us. When an extension sends data, it goes to IndieBuilderStack to sync your account or your content — never to a third-party data broker.
- They use the smallest permissions possible. Your browser will tell you exactly what an extension can access before you install it. We aim to keep that list as short as it can be.
Who we share it with
We share data only with the handful of services we need to run the business, and only the minimum each one needs:
- Stripe — to process payments.
- Google & GitHub — only if you choose to sign in with them.
- Our hosting and infrastructure — to store and serve your data.
That's the list. We don't sell, rent, or trade your personal information to anyone, for any price.
Your rights over your data
It's your data. You can:
- Ask for a copy of everything we have about you.
- Correct anything that's wrong.
- Delete your account and the data tied to it.
Email l@cupbots.com and a real person will take care of it.
How long we keep things
We keep your data for as long as your account is open. When you delete your account, we delete your personal data, except for the small bits we're legally required to hold onto (like billing records for tax purposes).
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy in a meaningful way, we'll update the date at the top and let you know. We won't quietly weaken your privacy and hope you don't notice.
